ICICI Bank Canada Student Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC)

ICICI Bank Canada has announced the Student Guaranteed Investment Certifi cate (GIC) program. Students applying for a study permit in Canada are required to invest in a GIC of C$10,000 with a bank in that country. The scheme enables Indian students to transfer funds from any bank account in India to their ICICI Bank Canada account. The money is paid back to the student in 12 instalments along with interest.
