The fund predominantly invests in stocks that offer high dividend yield.However, the strategy has not worked in the fund's favour in recent times.While it has consistently underper formed the category average, occasionally, it has also underperformed the benchmark in some cases. However, the fund manager is an experienced hand with a decent track record of per formance. For this fund, she adopts a flexible, benchmark-agnostic approach to portfolio construction and does not hesitate in placing bets on stocks outside its chosen benchmark. Even though the dividend yield category of funds is known for a conservative approach, this fund's risk-reward profile does not place it favourably even among this peer-set.
