The interest rates on DHFL Fixed Deposits are being revised downwards w.e.f 1^st September 2015. A summary of the changes is pasted below. The detailed interest rate chart is annexed for your reference and also Change in Value Date process for High Value Deposits and Non-CTS Cheques:

II : CHANGE IN VALUE DATE PROCESS FOR HIGH VALUE FIXED DEPOSITS

Effective 1^st September 2015, deposits can be accepted with non-CTS cheques. However for all deposits accepted with Non-CTS cheques, the value date of the Fixed Deposit will be the cheque clearing date. In other words, the interest will start accruing from the date the cheque is realized into DHFL account. Further, the interest rates applicable on the said deposit will be the interest rates as applicable on the date of realization of cheque.
